Almada Almada is a suburban town south of the Tagus river. On a hill, overlooking the river, a huge statue of Jesus Christ can be found. From this point you have a great view of the huge suspension bridge crossing the Tagus.
Expo The terrain of the former World Exhibition along the Tagues is a showpiece of modern architecture, providing nice contrasts with the old city centre.
